The Homeschool HUB wants to share it's resources with the broader national homeschool audience. Watch this website for new links of interest. The Homeschool HUB is a non-profit educational organization located in Niles, Michigan created to serve the needs of Michiana's homeschool community and now aiming to reach out to the national homeschool community. One of our purposes is to function as a central "hub" for collecting and sharing information pertinent to education at home.
The Homeschool HUB organizes enrichment programs, volunteer opportunities and field trips, and provides a communication network among homeschool families in the Michiana area. We are an inclusive organization; our goal is to provide opportunities for all homeschoolers to share educational resources and knowledge, and to enjoy each other's company in enriching group activities. Our organization officially began in September of 2002. With the help of our homeschool families and our community, we have made impressive gains in establishing our organization as a local non-profit dedicated to serving the needs of homeschoolers and to community service.
The Homeschool HUB is offering a $500 college scholarship for one homeschooler in Michiana. Homeschooled students graduating high school in 2016 who live in Elkhart, La Porte, Marshall, St. Joseph, or Starke counties in Indiana, or Berrien or Cass in Michigan are welcome to apply. The scholarship is open to any student who homeschooled for at least half of high school. Click here for the application.
