The "HUB Resources" section is an invaluable place for sharing information. If you have items to sell, give or something you are in need of, check out the "Classifieds." This is not a national swap board, but rather a place to share with your local, Michiana homeschool community. Search the "Resources" menu for more valuable information. "Classes" contains timely information on current music and art registration.
If you have an idea for an activity and are willing to be the contact person, take advantage of the Weekly Update and gather a group or find those with common interests. Plan for the spring and get a new co-op going. Don't forget there is always someone at the HUB resource center during our open hours, Mon-Thur, 12:00-4:00, so stop in and chat, rant, vent, laugh! There is a great new spirit of cooperation between our local groups, thanks to those leading. This paves the way for you and your family to find more people who share your interests and study methods.
Our weekly update by email is THE way to get all the information you need on classes, activities, field trips and volunteer opportunites, to mention just a few. Not getting the updates? Just send a request for this free service along with your email address, and your first and last names to homeschoolhub@yahoo.com.
We have a Yahoo group set up for chatting and to keep in touch over the summer. Go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/homeschoolhub/ and get signed up to receive group emails.
Please note: We are committed to offering volunteer and enrichment opportunities so that the homeschool community in and around Michiana may benefit from a rich educational experience. These offerings are not just for members, please check them out! If you have any questions or would like to teach for pay or volunteer in your area of expertise, please contact one of our directors:269-683-1384 or email hub@hshub.org
Space is available for area homeschoolers to use for meetings, clubs, classes, etc. Please call for more details: 269-683-1384.

The Homeschool Hub is a
Non-Profit Educational Organization

OUR MISSION
The Homeschool HUB organizes enrichment programs, volunteer opportunities and field trips, and provides a communication network among homeschool families in the Michiana area. We are an inclusive organization; our goal is to provide opportunities for all homeschoolers to share educational resources and knowledge, and to enjoy each other's company in enriching group activities.
The Homeschool HUB is a non-profit educational organization located in Niles, Michigan created to serve the needs of Michiana's homeschool community. One of our purposes is to function as a central "hub" for collecting and sharing information pertinent to education at home.
Our organization officially began in September of 2002. With the help of our homeschool families and our community, we have made impressive gains in establishing our organization as a local non-profit dedicated to serving the needs of homeschoolers and to community service.
